Ah yes, my motorcycle. The object at which I throw all of my spare cash. She's a 1984 Yamaha Virago 1000. My friend, Samantha, gave me a great name for her. "Dirty Girl". She likes to be rev'ed and I can ride her whenever
I want, I bought it in the Spring of 2000 and have been changing the looks and improving the performance ever since. If you're interested in doing your own customization and/or maintenance, check out my WorkShop page. |

| There has always been a problem with the seat on the Virago. It's padded in the wrong places and the foam has a tendency to compress as it gets older. As a result, you slide down when you hit the smallest bump. Several people in the Ottawa River Riders have gone to see Lonnie of Lonnie's Upholstery, Stittsville, ON (613)836-2157. For under $100 he'll reshape your seat, adding foam up front and change the depth of the bucket, so that you'll be held more firmly and comfortably in place. It sure beats buying a new Corbin Seat® for $350 or more. |
